In 1975, Martin L. & Mary F. Snook, who had purchased Greenlawn Memorial Park, a human cemetery, a year earlier realized there was a need for after death pet care that was not being fulfilled. With that, the Snook family started Valley Pet Cemetery and Crematory, a division of Greenlawn Cemetery Company, Inc. From those humble beginnings over forty years ago, Valley Pet grew into a full service pet crematory serving veterinary hospitals located in four states and the District of Columbia. In early 2016, the cemetery was sold so that Valley Pet could focus soley on pet cremations.
The growth of the company can be attributed to the high quality service provided and the reputation within the veterinary community for honesty and integrity. From the time our staff receives the phone call requesting service to the time your pet's cremated remains are returned, your pet is handled by a caring and sensitive staff. Currently owned and operated by Martin and Mary Snook's children, Todd, Debbie, and Greg, Valley Pet remains the premier choice for the care of your beloved and faithful companion.
